This 1030 nm thin-film polarizer separates s- and p-polarized light at a 45° angle of incidence, transmitting p-polarization (Tp>98%) while rejecting the s-component (Ts<0.3%). It is widely used in Yb-based femtosecond and picosecond laser systems for polarization-based power control with a half-wave plate, polarization cleanup before scanners, amplifiers or sensitive diagnostics, and attenuation and beam-routing schemes in high-power beam delivery and micromachining workstations. The low absorption IBS coating, λ/10 surface flatness and 10 arcsec parallelism help preserve beam quality and pointing in precision optical paths, while the compact Ø25.4 mm × 6.35 mm format fits standard 1-inch optical mounts.
