These 1030 nm thin-film polarizers are widely used in Yb-based laser systems for polarization-based power control with a half-wave plate, clean polarization splitting into separate beam paths, and polarization cleanup before sensitive optics. They are commonly integrated into high-power beam delivery and micromachining workstations to manage attenuation, isolation and back-reflection control, and to stabilize beam performance in long optical paths. Their low absorption IBS coatings and high LIDT support long-lifetime operation where thermal drift and polarization instability would otherwise limit system reliability.

This polarizer is optimized for operation at 1030 nm and a 45° angle of incidence.
